“Don’t move me! Don’t move me… my NECK!” 

Recently, we were in Colorado for a conference and I just HAD to go skiing.

(Because, when you’re at a conference on the side of a snowy mountain, you have to rent some ski gear and give it a TRY. Right?)

As a kid, did you ever hear “Go out in the backyard and pick out a switch?” 

Well, I picked up EVERY single stick in the whole yard. That yard was the cleanest it had ever been.

Then, I carefully inched… my… way… over to… the fence and chucked those puppies right OVER!  

A LOT of things can go wrong at 180 miles-an-hour!

(That’s right. This girl’s got the need… the need for SPEED!)

Can you believe it? I actually got to drive a real NASCAR race car at the Talladega Superspeedway!

I wanted to shave my legs! (I mean… I thought I was missing something.)

Let’s face it. In the fifth grade, I was taller than MOST of the boys. (Honestly, I was taller than most of my teachers, too!) 

So, the boys that were interested in me were always a little older. That’s why I wanted to wear makeup long before my mom was ready to allow that.

I was PETRIFIED… shaking in my boots and biting my nails!

But, it was all MINE!

(Don’t laugh.) My very first car cost me a whopping $600!
