Have you ever noticed that sometimes the people who liked you BEFORE (before you made it further than them) may not like you once they see that you’re so BLESSED!

Even Jacob, who was God’s man, rose up from the fields alone with no possessions. He WORKED HARD to make his boss (his father-in-law, Laban) a whole lot of money.

He had to deal with PERSECUTION from the people around him as he rose through the ranks.

Jacob heard that Laban’s sons were saying, “Jacob has taken everything our father owned and has gained all this wealth from what belonged to our father.” And Jacob noticed that Laban’s attitude toward him was not what it had been. Genesis 31:1-2 (NIV)

They never mention how hard Jacob worked, the credit he have God for his blessing, or the difficulties Jacob overcame to succeed!

Can’t Take ‘Em With Us
Remember, that we have friends for a SEASON and friends for a REASON.

Not everyone who has been with us THIS far will go with us the entire distance!

“But God…I LIKE these people!” (I whined in my whiniest voice.) Ever said that?

God is in Heaven thinking, “If you LIKE the people you’ve got HERE with you, now…you’re going to LOVE the people you go THERE with!”

It Only Gets Better!
Know that PROMOTION comes from Heaven; and that where He’s taking us is so much BETTER.

• Better PAY!
• Better RELATIONSHIPS!
• Better PEACE!
• Better OPPORTUNITY!
• Better LIFE!

We CAN’T let the “persecution of our success” from people who won’t celebrate our victories keep us down.

The best is YET to come!

Prayer For Today
“Father, when people grumble and complain about me, it hurts. But I trust You and where You’re taking me! I believe You have a “promised land” for me and I’m willing to go there!!!! In Jesus name.”
