A few years ago, I read a great book entitled, Blink by Malcolm Gladwell. The whole premise of his book is, how we should always make decisions based on our instantaneous GUT FEELING and not try to reason everything out.
Isn’t it amazing, how even secular books are tapping into the genetic God-given decision maker? The more we look toward God, the more receptive we’ll be to our Holy Spirit “Blink”.
Christians know, that following God is a HEART thing, not a head thing. We can’t rationalize it! His thoughts and ways are higher than ours, beyond anything we can imagine!
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.”Proverbs 3:5
Hearing from Him, always comes from the INSIDE and not the outside. God is faithful to lead us down the right path. But, even if we misperceive and get off track, He is kind and will gently guide us back.
People who act boldly, are the ones who allow their HEARTS to direct the movement of their lives.
If we insist on having everything figured out ahead of time… we’ll never be able to step up and do anything COURAGEOUS for God.
Stop rationalizing and just RESPOND to Him! Be courageous and follow your “Blink”!
