You may be surprised to hear that I receive a lot of smack takin’ shady emails, Facebook messages, letters, and blog comments; all asking me to do something that I’m just NOT WILLING to do!

What????

They want me to GIVE UP on people that need help! (Are you shocked? I am…every time it happens!)

They just can’t attend Faith Church or be around me, anymore, because of all the SINNERS we allow in our church! They can’t condone the fact that we don’t publicly confront these people.

That FLOORS me! As IF they have no sin! (Ahem, please note exhibit one – the judging)

They “pray for my soul”, that I CHANGE before I reach the judgment seat. (I guess they think I’m gonna have a lot of explaining to do.)

That breaks my heart!

We’ve always embraced people who are open about their struggles with drugs and alcoholism. (You can always find them finishing their cigarettes right before church.) lol

But we don’t JUDGE them. That job is WAY above my pay grade! The only one I get to judge is me.

By loving, instructing, and encouraging, we can draw people to God that would otherwise be headed for hell.

Who’s going to reach those people with the love of God?

And in case we forget… we are ALL sinners saved by GRACE!!!

Let’s never quit reaching out to our hurting world. Let’s never give up on ANYONE, just because their sin may be a little more obvious than our own.

Let’s take as many people with us to Heaven as we can! And if you’re gonna judge me for that… well, so be it!
