A few weeks ago, I went to bed with just a stuffy nose and woke up in the middle of the night because I couldn’t breathe. It felt like a knife had sliced open my throat and I started coughing, like CRAZY!
I tried to prop my head up with pillows. But then, I’m trying to sleep sitting up…and THAT didn’t work at all!
The next morning, my ear ACHED really bad, and my head was THROBBING! What in the world? Where is the Mack truck that ran over my head during the night?
You might not feel good, today… and you might have a REALLY GOOD reason. But, if we’re not careful, we can let bad days keep us back from doing the things we know we’re supposed to do.
In those moments, we have a decision to make. We’re going on with our day. We’re walking by FAITH and not by sight. Faith pleases God and He will honor us for our effort.
After all, we’re not strong enough to get through these things by ourselves. (We were never designed to be.) So, we shouldn’t be afraid to fill ourselves up with the Word and ask God for His STRENGTH.
We are weak but he is STRONG! Our faith doesn’t even begin UNTIL our physical ability ends.
“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4 (NKJV)
Rely on God’s strength…not your own. There’s a HERO on the inside of you!
